I’m Paul Poletes. I’m a father, husband, proud foreign service officer, and avid cyclist. I started this blog to give me an excuse to write more, because writing is something I love doing. What’s the blog about? Mostly cycling, travel, and food, along with anything else I feel like writing about.
My other passion (and only hobby besides collecting Hummel figurines) is cycling. In 2012, out of shape and getting fat, I bought a new bike. Then I got another, and another, and another (and sold one along the way). Now my idea of fun is finding steep hills and then trying to ride up them on a bicycle.
